Estoy escribiendo un libro contrarreloj sobre galletas y en dieta líquida, así que tengo la ansiedad más que alborotada. En esa horrible necesidad de alimentarme de líquidos (jugos y sopas) creé una sopa hoy que me reconcilió del todo con la categoría sopa: maíz ahumado con pimentón, lomito y pimetón picante español. La comparto. Luego recuerdo.
Poner media cebolla, 1/4 de tallo de apio y 1/4 de pimentón rojo a dorar con poco aceite de oliva, agregando sal y pimienta, tomillo si les gusta. Cuando las verduras estén blanditas, dorar el lomito en cubitos (no tiene que ser un montón, una manotada para 4 sopas grandes), agregar maíz desgranado (puede ser del de lata) y caldo de pollo, humo líquido, mezquita, pimentón picante al gusto (confianza en el ojo) y dejar cocinar el maíz. Licuar y ajustar el sabor (probar y no ser remilgoso) y dejar que se caliente bien antes de servir (no colar porque queda un agua; si está muy espesa, agregar agua o más caldo). Para quienes no estén en dieta, acompañar con suero costeño, queso crema, totopos... tyhe sky is the limit. Para mí, gelatina light y colombiana ligera.
Se me borró el recuerdo de sentarme frente a un plato de sopa y sentir llenura y acidez; y se reemplazó por una sonrisa, barriga llena y corazón contento. I like it. Una nueva magdalena para más entradas. Regreso a las galletas. Más tarde las fotos.

Y bueno, la sopa suena increíble, por supuesto. A mí sí me encanta la sopa, cualquiera. Desde siempre. Me hace sentir bien, ligerita de espíritu y es lo que más me sabe a casita, sea la sopa que sea.
Probaré esta. Ahora que voy a tener nevera buena (si Haceb me la manda alguna vez), voy a comprar y a hacer más cosas congelables.

¿Qué carajos es humo líquido? En todo caso, se ve deli. ¿Cómo va la dieta? Cuando acabes, podemos vernos para comer algo sólido, aunque yo te podría acompañar a tomar sopita porque me encantan ;)
Caro, es una dieta tenaz, con malteada tipo ensure, sopas, jugos, gelatina helado y yogurt dietético. La primera vez que la hice me fue muy bien y so far so good. Pero fumo mucho.
Las sopas de esta versión de la dieta han sido definitivamente mejores; hoy fue puerro con cilantro y un poco de lechuga y me gustó. Ojalá te llegue tu nueva nevera y uses el congelador para más que vodka y helado (ayyy deli un vodka).
